Hubbynet presents: Relationships and Personal Success by Dr. John Gray (author of "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus")

Dear John:

My boyfriend of six years broke up with me and began seeing
someone else, but he's cheating on that relationship -- with
me. I ask him if we will someday get back together, and he
says that right now, he doesn't know. I know we still love
each other, so what exactly does it mean when he says he
doesn't know? Is that a "yes" or "no"?

-- Confused in Los Angeles

Dear Confused:

It means just that: He doesn't know, and he's not going to
make a commitment right now, so don't read more into it than
you should. Besides, why should he? He's got the best of
both relationships -- with your tacit approval. My advice:
If you really want a committed, exclusive relationship,
extract yourself from him until he is willing to give you
what you want.
